The Breeds are a genetic experiment created by scientist. They look like ordinary people but their DNA is part human and part animal. They were created to be the perfect combat soldier for war but after they start rising up against their creators, and other people find out about them they free themselves. From their creators and handlers to live as normal people, well, or the most part. The Breeds have better senses than humans. They are stronger, faster, more predatory and territorial. They are also more vicious and not all people agree with their existence. Some Breeds even have special powers such as sensing other people's emotions, knowing if someone is lying, and the very special one's can even read the minds of others, humans and Breeds.
